Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Crowns and Bridges

How can we help you?

We are happy to answer questions about our services and procedures.

These are a selection of some common questions that patients have. If your question isn't answered here, please contact our dental clinic. It's important to us that our patients understand their dental care.

Crowns and Bridges

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

A dental bridge is a dental restoration that usually includes two dental crowns and a replacement tooth (pontic) that fills the empty space left by a missing tooth. The dental crowns are secured to adjacent teeth on either side of the empty space and provide support for the artificial tooth.

LEVEL 1 RESTRICTIONS:

We are happy to announce we are back on Level 1 restrictions and would be able to perform all dental services and treatments.

Level 1 means that dental professionals must continue to screen patients and only treat those who do not meet the epidemiological and clinical risk factors for COVID-19. As such we would be asking all the patients few medical and travel history questions as pre-screening for Covid-19.
Online bookings are not open to better screen our patients. We really appreciate your understanding at this time to help us provide optimal care for our community
